What is the Performance Making Diploma?

This course teaches you professional performance skills. You will work with leading arts professionals. You will create your own performances in different styles. You will explore different ways of making a career as a performer.

The course is for adults over 18 years old who have learning disabilities or autism. This course is for someone who has previous drama experience and wants to train at a higher level.

This course is run in partnership with learning disabled theatre company, Access All Areas.


January – July 2019

2 sessions a week

We will tell you the dates when you apply.

Students may be able to apply for a second year of the course.

How much does it cost?


We have some free places for people on low incomes. You can apply for these later.

How do I apply?

There are 15 places on the course.

You will:

  • Fill out an application form
  • Take part in an audition workshop
  • Have a relaxed interview

We get a lot of interest in this course and may not be able to interview all applicants.
