During your audition, you will have the opportunity to address the panel with any queries you may have. Please ensure that you arrive for your audition 10 minutes prior to the start time. All auditions take place at Central's main campus. Please note that due to the timeline and duration of the course we only offer one audition per year to each candidate.
Acting and Gap Year Diploma - You will need to prepare a two-minute contemporary monologue (from the last 30 years). Please note that the monologue should be from a published play and not a film or TV show.
Musical Theatre Diploma - You will need to prepare a two minute contemporary monologue (from the last 30 years). Please note that the monologue should be from a published play and not a film or TV show. Please also bring the sheet music for two contrasting musical theatre songs, one up-tempo and one ballad. Please choose material that you can connect with to display the emotion and truth in your acting through song. The songs may be cut down and we may only need to hear a small section of one of the prepared songs which we will choose at your audition.
If you are successful in auditioning you will be emailed a formal offer letter and asked to complete our online application form (a link will be sent to you).
