Speakers / participants: Fevered Sleep / David Harradine
Men & Girls Dance brings together two very different groups of performers: adult, male professional contemporary dancers, and girls who dance for fun.
Men & Girls Dance is a celebration of the rights of adults and children to be together, to play together and to dance together. At times playful, at times provocative, emotionally charged, and deeply political, Men & Girls Dance is a celebration of tenderness, empathy, care, protection and love.
Co-commissioned by The Place, this critically acclaimed production arrives for a limited London run after a hugely successful national tour. Age recommendation: 12+
Created for an adult audience, Men & Girls Dance continues Fevered Sleep’s ambition to encourage audiences to think differently about the world and to start conversations.
We are very much looking forward to bringing Men & Girls Dance to The Place in London in April 2017, after a wonderfully successful national tour that took us to Folkestone, Huddersfield, Salford, Nottingham and Brighton this year.
